Dr. Charles Lewinstein Named Chief of Vascular Surgery At St. Joseph’s Hospital

GVC Physician Enters Second Term in Prestigious Position

Georgia Vascular Clinic (GVC) physician Dr. Charles Lewinstein was recently named Chief of Vascular Surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, a nationally recognized center for vascular and cardiovascular care.

Dr. Lewinstein practiced general and vascular surgery in Southern California for five years before moving to Atlanta in 1992, where he narrowed his field exclusively to vascular surgery. He was originally named to his first term as St. Joseph's Chief of Vascular Surgery in 2003.

“I’m excited to continue to lead St. Joseph’s vascular surgery division,” said Dr. Lewinstein. “It is at the forefront of cutting-edge vascular care.”

Dr. Lewinstein has over 20 years of experience in vascular surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has practiced vascular care with GVC since 2003
