GVC Physicians Serve as Investigators for Vascular Clinical Trials

Georgia Vascular Clinic (GVC) physicians Dr. Charles Lewinstein and Dr. Joseph Zarge regularly serve as investigators for vascular clinical trials in conjunction with St. Joseph’s Hospital. GVC has been a pioneer in Atlanta vascular care since 1968.

St. Joseph’s Hospital is a renowned leader in the fields of cardiovascular and vascular care. GVC has worked closely with St. Joseph’s for over 25 years.

Dr. Lewinstein has over 20 years of experience in vascular surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is closely involved with GVC’s clinical research, serving as principle investigator for several trials, including those involving Silverhawk atherectomy device.

Dr. Zarge has been offering vascular care with GVC since 1997. He has nearly 10 years of experience in vascular surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is currently serving as sub-investigator in seven trials at St. Joseph’s Research Institute.
