Dr. Brooks Whitney Named Chief of Vascular Surgery At St. Joseph’s Hospital

GVC Physician Appointed to Prestigious Position

Georgia Vascular Clinic (GVC) physician Dr. Brooks Whitney was recently named Chief of Vascular Surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, a nationally recognized center for vascular and cardiovascular care.

“I’m excited to lead St. Joseph’s vascular surgery division,” said Dr. Whitney. “It is at the forefront of cutting-edge vascular care.”

Dr. Whitney has 13 years of experience in vascular surgery, and is involved with diagnostic catheter and intravenous modalities of angioplasty, stenting, and stent grafts. He is a member of the Michael E. DeBakey International Surgical Society, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Medical Association of Atlanta, the Atlanta Vascular Society, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, the International Society of Endovascular Specialists, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
